It continues to be such an incredible privilege to teach my fellow equestrians remotely who are from all corners of the country. Here is a handful of my wonderful students and their beautiful horses. If you’d like to try a virtual lesson, please click here.

Student Testimonials

Gabi

Look at this absolutely stunning photo!!!

My very talented student, Gabi, and her horse Atticus are at Canadian Nationals this week! This morning they went National Champion in 2nd Level and Reserve National Champion in 1st Level!

What Gabi says, “I thoroughly have appreciated your guidance in this past year even when my lessons are sometimes months apart! You have really helped me develop as a trainer with every ride.”

Tifany

I’m so proud of Tifany, she’s done such an incredible job with Moon this year. What an honor it is to have such amazing horsewomen like her as a part of our Team CBT family. So proud!

From Tif:

Sometimes the journey is just as important as the destination.

Along the road this year, our goal stopped being about showing or training, and became helping us become the best versions of ourselves.

Spring season recap…
4 – schooling shows
8 -1st place, 1 -2nd place
2 -Grand Champions
1 -High Point

Lowest score 65, highest 73.4— but our real wins haven’t been in the show ring.

It’s taken a team, we appreciate you being on ours!!

Patty

Patty has been a student of Cara’s for two decades! We have seen Patty’s success with many horses. But most of all, she is doing such an incredible job at conquering her own fears. We are so proud of how far Patty has come and look forward to watching herdreams come to fruition when she earns her USDF Bronze Medal.

Stacy

Stacy has been a part of our Team CBT family for 2 years now, all the way in upstate New York! Cara thoroughly enjoys helping Stacy with her 3 beautiful mares and having her as a part of Stable Yoga, as well.

Sarah

Cara loves working with Sarah and her lovely mare, Spunky! Like Cara’s Fiona, Spunky also struggles with MFM. IT has been such an honor to guide Sarah along in their journey and watch them improve leaps and bounds. Spunky is feeling great in her body and steadily improving. Sarah is doing such an incredible job with her gorgeous mare!

Carol

Carol and her daughters have been a part of our Team CBT family since 2015…or so. We can’t remember  it’s been that long! It’s been such an honor to watch Carol in the saddle living our her horse girl dreams. She has come such a long way and is becoming such an intuitive horsewoman!

Nicole

Nicole and I have been working together since the Summer of 2025. It has been such an inspiration to watch her confidence grow both in and out of the saddle. Not only does Nicole take virtual lessons with me on her gorgeous boy, Gus, but she is also a founding member of the Stable Yoga Academy. I’m so grateful to have her and Gus as a part of the Team CBT family and I’m excited to watch them in the show ring for years to come!

Marty

Marty saw her daughter, Nicole, enjoying her virtual lessons so much that she decided to join the Team CBT family, too! Marty and I have a blast giggling at technology getting the best of us and her young horse Gunner’s baby antics. These two are such an absolute joy to work with every week! I am so blessed to be a part of their journey and I just know they will accomplish anything that they set out to!

Abby

Abby has been a part of our Team CBT family for a decade or so. She first came to us as a rider for the Stetson University Dressage Team when Cara was the coach (from 2015-2020.) Abby missed us and came back! We love having her as a part of our barn family. She’s truly enjoying learning the ins and out of horsemandship, groudn work and dressage.

McKenna

McKenna has been a part of our Team BT family since 2012. We are so very proud of her and luck y to have her in our barn family all of these years. With Cara she earned her USDF Bronze Medal, Regional Top Fives and countless Class A Championships and Reserve Championships

Summer

Summer became a student of Cara’s in 2018. It has been such a joy to watch her grow as a horse woman. From local to Class A to Regional titles. This girl is hardcore motivated and isn’t afraid to put in the work!

From Summer:

You taught me feel and timing. Knowing when to quit and not to drill a movement. How to keep things changed up and not frustrating me or my horse. I can’t thank you enough for teaching me those things! Your barn always has been and always will be a safe space.

More coming soon...
